It’s Christmas Day, and the royals are out in full force! Meghan Markle, the 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex, joined her husband, Prince Harry, and other members of the British royal family for a special Christmas Day service at St. Mary Magdalene Church. The event took place at Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England, on December 25. This year marks Meghan’s second Christmas with the royal family, and let me tell you, she’s bringing her A-game to the festivities.
Let’s talk about that outfit! Pregnant Meghan looked absolutely radiant in a chic black dress that perfectly complemented her growing baby bump. She paired it with a matching black coat, a stunning black hat adorned with blue feathers, and a pair of sleek leather boots. Her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, also turned heads in a striking red coat with a matching crimson headband. These ladies truly know how to make a fashion statement, even on the chilliest of winter days.

Looking Back: Meghan’s First Royal Christmas
While this is Meghan’s first official Christmas as the Duchess of Sussex since her May wedding to Harry, it’s not her first time celebrating the holiday with the royals. Last year, before they were officially married, Meghan attended the Queen’s holiday festivities in 2017 as Harry’s fiancée. Back then, she wore a $298 Club Monaco velvet dress paired with a belted beige Sentaler coat. To complete the look, she accessorized with a camel-colored hat and matching knee-high suede boots. It’s clear that Meghan knows how to dress for these formal occasions, and she’s only getting better with time.

Harry’s Take on Meghan’s Royal Debut
After Meghan’s first holiday with the royals last year, Prince Harry couldn’t stop raving about how much she enjoyed the experience. “It was fantastic. She really enjoyed it, the family loved having her there,” he said. “Together we had a really amazing time. We had great fun staying with my brother and sister-in-law and running around with the kids.” It’s clear that Meghan has already become a beloved member of the royal family, and her presence brings joy to everyone around her.
This Year’s Royal Christmas Plans
This year, Kensington Palace confirmed that Meghan and Harry, now 34, would be spending Christmas with the royal family. However, things have changed slightly from last year. Reports suggest that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex won’t be staying in the same house as Kate and Prince William on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate. With over 30 royal family members typically gathering in Norfolk for the holiday, space can get tight. It’s not uncommon for the estate to feel a bit cramped, with sleeping arrangements that aren’t always the most comfortable. As a result, Kate and William reportedly opted to stay at their nearby Amner Hall country home with their three children, Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 8 months. This decision ensures everyone has a bit more breathing room during the festive season.
